Potsdam Sights

I think Potsdam is a really great place if you’re into photography. So many castles and nice places! I’ve decided I should take some time and do Potsdam the justice it deserves with my camera. So check back for updates. I’ll start the series with the Flatowturm in Park Babelsberg, and the Brandenburg gate on Luisenplatz.

Jaime & Yuli

I met Jaime & Yuli in Sanssouci for a couple portrait session. We ended up over by the Friedenskirche as there were just too many people in the gardens right around the castle. I really love how these turned out.

Anne & Gerald

Anne & Gerald were married on October 11th in the Standesamt Goetheallee in Dresden. It was a really beautiful fall day. Anne arrived at the standesamt in an old-timer Ford, and Gerald rode in on a bike that was probably just as old. After the ceremony we crossed the Elbe on the Blaueswunder on our way to Schloss Eckberg for champagne, cake, dinner and the party. It’s hard to beat the view from the castle over the Elbe river valley towards Dresden. Check out pictures of the soccer competition between the bride and groom in the gallery!

If you happen to pick up a copy of the May/June 2009 issue of Braut & Bräutigam with the east Germany regional section, there is a really nice interview with Mandy & Torsten along with a few images of mine from their wedding.
